Thank you to our business and industry partners, college and military representatives, teachers and staff, and our families and students for attending College & Career Options Night. We hope you have lots of new info to help you choose your path! #ThisIsTech#BranchOut
We were honored to spend our morning with @USairforce Brigadier General Jeannie M. Leavitt, the first female fighter pilot in the Air Force! General Leavitt met with students in several programs, sharing highlights of her illustrious career and all she has gained from her service. She currently serves Commander of @usaf_recruiting here and overseas. And...she is sister to our librarian Mrs. Schnurbusch. Aren't we lucky? #ThisIsTech#stl#aimhigh#airman#fighterjetpilot
Welcome to the 2019-2020 #ThisIsTech school year - tell us what you are looking forward to accomplishing when classes resume on August 13th! #stl#CTE

The Skilled Craft Education Program we began with Ameren is in its 11th year of supporting Tech students through mentoring, field experiences, training, and opportunities for employment. Congratulations to these awesome students! #ThisIsTech
Auto Collision Repair students are wrapping up the year with a visit from Rob Smith of @gapschcarstar and tours of Selberts Autobody, @schaefer_autobody, and South Tech graduate Scott Witzig's @protech_collision. These partners treated our students to lots of sound career advice, industry info, behind the scenes views of their high tech facilities, and even donuts! Their support brings our real world instruction to life - thank you! #ThisIsTech#STL#autocollisionrepair
Thanks to West Tech grad Daryl Smith from Woodard Restoration & Cleaning who shared a demo on cleaning and refinishing VCT and marble floors. #ThisIsTech#CTE
@MetroAirSupport brought an awesome field experience for Law Enforcement students this week as weather finally cooperated! Alongside the @stlcountypd K-9 Unit, these industry partners provided a day full of the real world experiences our students thrive on. #ThisIsTech
Joe Lynch of @ParkwaySchools West High was recently awarded a drill set, generously donated by David Hamtil of @HamtilConstruction, in recognition of his exemplary attendance record. Joe was our Tops at Tech in Carpentry and will be signing with @Paric to begin his career in construction right after graduation! #ThisIsTech
Dental Sciences students had a SWEET Friday! Advisor Catrina Houston shared an inspiring and motivational presentation on finding success and following one's dreams. To emphasize her point, she brought along a generous donation of Zollipops from @Zollicandy. The company was founded by Alina Morse at age 9 (now CEO at age 13!) who wanted to create a lollipop that wouldn't cause cavities...an idea our future dental professionals can happily support! #ThisIsTech#STL
