Dental Science Students Give Back

Dental Science Students Give BackOn Friday, October 28th, the biannual Give Kids A Smile clinic was held at SLU’s Center for Advanced Dental Education for its 30th time. For those of you not familiar with this event, it is truly a life-changing experience.

Dental professionals from around the region gather together and volunteer their time and skills to provide free dental care to children in need. The seniors from the Dental Science program were able to contribute to this fall’s successful clinic.

The students assisted dentists while they provided free restorative care to hundreds of children. The volunteers were able to provide over $300,000 worth of dental care to over 350 kids. What an accomplishment!
